The first Leadership Mentoring Program webinar is in the can.

Wow, never did I think I would begin a webinar career. Ever. With the first technical hitches I thought it was going to be short lived! Yes, with them out of the way we soon got down to business. We outlined the structure of the program including the strategy, methods and relationships involved in effective mentoring and previewed the items discussed in Episode 1.

Once the outline was established, we were into the first presentation by a guest presenter, none other than Anna Perdriau MBA. She was walking us through the Mentoring Mansion. The second guest presenter was my good friend and colleague from Europe Morag Mathieson MBA. Morag has been a mentor to the Open University MBA program since 2010. In this presentation she provided guidelines on selecting a mentor and the need to understand yourself so that you are in a better position to help and guide others.

What an honour it was to have both these experienced and insightful ladies share with us. Watch out for more from them both.

We wrapped up the session by providing some activities for participants to complete and the topics for next Episode in September. It will be a long wait until then, so keep in touch and bye for now.
